I’ve only gone and done it again, but this time on purpose. If you didn’t know you can put a water guard on a kayak over the hole which allows you to get into the boat. However, to get this awesome contraption that I went three sessions without #angryface, onto your boat, you need to prove that you can get it off, so you don’t drown if you capsize.
After two weeks, on Wednesday 8th May 2019 I went back on the water. Last time, I was given the advice to use a smaller kayak because they are harder to keep straight. I just had to take up that advice on the day the wind decided to pick up. Like seriously, I thought they might call of the training but no. So I got into that boat and turned around in circles trying to go straight like a bad-ass.
On Wednesday 24th April 2019, I braved out the rain to use the sea kayak for the first time and my eyes were opened to how difficult it is to steer a kayak that is three times the size of you.
