On Wednesday 24th April 2019, I braved out the rain to use the sea kayak for the first time and my eyes were opened to how difficult it is to steer a kayak that is three times the size of you.

How it all began
Children were on the streets begging and you couldn’t do anything because it would only encourage their mothers to send them back out again. Adults and children alike wore ripped clothes and two left shoes. So I decided to try and do something about it through a series of sponsored challenges

The Previous Challenge: Walk300
In June 2017, I went to Uganda in search of who I was. I came back having been given so much more. Not only did the people bring back my confidence, but they also showed me a better way to live, having smiles and heart so big despite their situation; I saw first-hand children arriving at school with no shoes, torn clothes and stories that broke my heart. So I want to give back to them.
