The Blog
Our blog features everything from the planning stages, to the challenges and beyond, including how we spend the money raised so you can be 100% confident that we are doing what we say we are.
Sponsored Challenges
To raise money, every year we embark on a sponsored challenge. In 2017, it was 300 miles of walking; this year it is 82 miles of kayaking
Donation Destination
In the Kalungu district of Uganda stands a school. A school that is not just a school but a pillar of the community that stands to provide vital education for those that will otheriwse go without.
Welcome
Welcome to Challenge Accepted, where we complete challenges to raise money for child education in Uganda.
In Uganda school isn’t free and even at 350,000 UGX a term, equivalent to around £240 for a year of education. That’s less than a pound a day! Even then, families still can’t afford for their children to go and street kids have no chance of getting an education if they don’t have our help.
So in 2017, we took up the gauntlet to help Bright Light Primary School provide free education, school supplies, even food, water and clothes.
On this website, you can find out more about who we are, what we do and the school we are fundraising for through the links above. You can also follow our blog where we post updates on our challenges.
Donate
Please don’t leave before donating. From as little as £2 you will provide a child food and water for an entire day. £80 / term sponsors a child’s education.
